Noob question

I just got the trilogy that cam with a free EOTN as well, so got them all, started playing prof, but am wondering if I can take this char over to the next game later ? or do I have to creat a brand new char for each expansion as I get to them ?

Ive read through the faq, and it sounds like you do, but just wanted to make sure, as if thats the case it seems like a big waste of time leveling up a char in prof, then having to start all over again, whats the point ? grrrr

Yep, you can take your character to each of the other continents.

You can take that character over to the other campaigns and expansion. In factions and nightfall, each campaign only has a limited amount of 'beginning' content, so most of those campaigns are geared towards max level play.

Note: 4 of the professions are expansion specific. Assassins and Ritualists can only be created in Factions, Paragons and Dervishes can only be created in Nightfall. You are still able to also take these classes to other campaigns. You just can only create them in their 'home' campaigns.

To take a proph character to the other campaigns you must first reach Lion's Arch also known as LA from there you can get 2 quests one will take you to Factions and the other will take you to Nightfall. To take your character to EotN you must be at least level 10 when you reach LA there is a quest that will take you from there to the first town in EotN.
