Unknown Concept Art (GuildWars 2?)
Another Felldspar
It reminds me of the Alchemy Circle but with locations -- maybe because that's pretty much how I pictured it mentally when I read that it might be a map.

My guess is this was one of the concepts done for Utopia later realized as Eye of The North expansion. Definatelly looks like chronomancer stuff! Very interesting. I think we may yet get to see it in GW2 as I remember there being talk about how when the design team were planning the fourth installation to GW the amount of new ideas just blew out of their hands and they decided to make EoTN smaller for several reasons.
They wanted to create so many new things that just werent going to work in GW platform anymore. And then decided it was time to take all these "Utopia" concepts they originally had for EoTN and start planning a whole new game around it aka GW2 so they could realize what they wanted better.

Anyway, that picture is freaking awesome, teaser for Gw2 maybe?

IIRC the first time GW2 was mentioned was when they talked about the limitation of the GW1 engine and architecture, so it wasn't related to this artwork.
This picture was released a while ago, so it'd be weird to consider it a GW2 teaser in any way.
It'd be cool to have something around this theme in GW2, but the universe described in the GW2 article (in PC Gamer) would have to be streched a bit far to accomodate with these things? (these pictures show a certain mastering of mechanics)

I'll see your MtG card from 2001, and raise you an entire Dungeons and Dragons setting from 1989:

But really flying sailing ships is pretty commonplace.
Don't know that one, but Mechanus is a D&D realm invented in 1987, entirely made up by cogs, with cities on some of the cogs.
MtG (and GW) steals from DnD, which in turn is a cargo cult of art and concepts stolen from religions and mythologies everywhere.

Wow, that piece of art leaves me breathless.

That picture of that "dual wielder" strikes me as a combination of Grenth and Balthazar...

that clock city seams like cantha.
some where i read about kisu's decendent defeted both kurzicks and luxons after that there where no news about canthans, but maybe asurans got in some kind of alliance whit kisu's decendent( in order to conquer kurz/lux) and they now got this new asuran/canthan city look on gw2 .

By chance, could this maybe not only a little bit of a look at GW yet to come, or GW that will not be, could it just be some photographic metaphor for the intertwinness of the GW continents and how they interact?
Or, on a much less sophicticated note, i doubt this to be GW2. It doesnt fit anywhere in the storyline/predicted map and does have any clues to being underground...

Because of this, any chance of forming an alliance with the Asura seems out of the question.
BenjZee
makes sense thats its next to cantha - we got Tyiran campagin, canthan , elonian (in tryria) then this one ( in cantha). It looks like part of what could have been boreal station where the dwarves live.

If i had to place it anywere i would place it in the Mists rather than on Tyria. A mysterious city of time dwelling deep within the Mists.....
Saborath Gilgalad
That City looks sweet, I like the industrial theme that it has, with the factories and the smoke of industry in the background.
I wonder if GW will go through its own Industrial Revolution for GW2.

omg this all looks so awesome. Great work to those posters who found all these treats.

Doesn't really bother me, either way. Single wield shows finesse, duel wield shows brutality (although it's also a bit cliche).
But holy balls I'd love to see something like this in GW2 or some such.
pumpkin pie
anyone knows who is that behind Mhenlo? the something like this link.
Free Runner
If you talking about the link Alleji posted its just the random female ranger that appears on the boxes. Could possibly be Reyna.

However, one should realize that Dociu and the other artists 1) do not exclusively work for ArenaNet, and 2) are real artists - they also "just paint", it's not all conceptwork.

If GW2 needs anything, it is Uboa:

He's so RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing scary!
In seriousness:
I am going to bet that most of the leaked concept art won't be like in-game, and similar to mox, they're advertising in silver armor :P

I think it is Arah rebuilt by asurans...

Right this is the time machine meeded to go back to PRESEARING with the req9 max damage Voltaic spear
Sword Hammer Axe
Deadshot Seven
Looks like Daniel Dociu's work.
He's my favorite artist for a reason.
Though it'd get very dizzying if those cogs actually moved to power some giant machine or where apart of some giant machine...
