Hello!
On my root directory of my Windows XP Home hard drive, I have three mysterious files: dj.exe, dje.exe, and djefr.exe. I have no idea where they come from, and the only clues I have are that they are from a company called "uNk" and each file is 202 KB. Since I don't know any of these files, I have not attempted to run them for fear the files could be infected with something. I have not deleted them because I don't know what they are. I'm wondering if anyone had any ideas on what they are.
I have attempted to search on Google, however since the information provided to me is very vague, I'm getting all different kinds of hits.
Thank you in advance for any and all help.

Upload them to VirusTotal and see what the results say about each file.

*smacks self on head* Duh! I have Spyware scanner and an Antivirus! I should have used those to figure things out.
Anywho...
Antivirus picked nothing up (I'm using AVG free).
Spybot - Search & Destroy found nothing, too.
However, VirusTotal has a few results listed as a virus, worm, or other malware. Those three files are going bye-bye and that site is going into my Favorites. Thanks.

Since they were malicious I would recommend you download my Anti-Malware Toolkit and get the Professional package. Then follow the directions in the PC Cleanup guide.

I don't think there were any lasting harm on my system, least of all that I could see.
I did run a HiJack this, and I didn't find anything TOO terrible, but here are the results:
