Don't have any mission after searing

I was in a party with other human players when I went ahead with the mission that took me through a pvp fight and a cut scene (after some fighting). Once the cut scene was over, it was two years later and the city was in ruins. {I'm guessing I went from pre to post searing} I saw Captain Osric offering a quest. But before I could reach him, someone in my party teleported to Ascalon city (along with me).
Now, I don't have my main quest! I went outside to find the good Captain but can't find him! Is there any way for me to take that mission? Or is my main mission screwed up for good?

It was a quest, and unfortunately it's gone for good. All you missed out on is some xp, though. Find Warmaster Tydus, and you can continue on.

You only missed 500xp. Not a big deal. Go speak to Warmaster Tydus and he'll set you on the right track. He's where you'd be going with that quest you missed anyway.

sorry to say you wont get that quest again. it has happened to me many times. this is why i always try and get henchies only for that pvp part.
