I recently went up against Cyndr with a couple of my guildmates. We were not organized enough and simply got spanked. I did a little reading and decided to bring Shelter, Pain, and Soul Twisting. The idea was that I could mostly keep Shelter up enough by doing a Twist to Pain over and over. And it rocked. No one took more than 60 hp damage from him. I was lauded a hero. All was right in the world.
Now I roll a Chan/Comm split like this:
[Splinter Weapon][Nightmare Weapon][Vampirism][Bloodsong][Shelter][Soul Twisting][PvE skill of need][Flesh/Flesh]
I know it's not the sacred ChanResto, but it really stops spikes in HM and dungeons. I have to wait between fights for Energy, but I can usually keep Shelter up, the other spirits help with the Health steal, and the weapons aid the front liners.
Any idea for improvements? Maybe add Ancestor's and Essence Strike? But what to drop? Or should I abandon all hope and go back to ChanResto?
