well what i would be interested in,is something like an autoit script for single games
so i can launch texmod silently for lets say resident evil 4 and that it autoselects logging mode, starts up the game and then exits texmod once i exit re4 and the same for lets say devil may cry 4 just instead of the logging mode it selects the tpf files that you want. itd be very much appreciated, thanks |
Speeder
You know wrong. TexMod was originally made for TombRaider.
sexus
thank you speeder xD,yes texmod is used for quite a few games youd be suprised , and as said id appreciate it if youd take youre valuable time and extend it abit for logging mode and silent opening ,and silent exiting texmod on game exit, stay fresh keep up the good work !
Speeder
It already supports silent operation. Just add the "Splash=0" under the [Settings] category in the configuration ini file (without quotes).
Spiritz
what i meant was - the current project is for gw even tho texmod can be used on other games.Generally it would be done for the platform stated ( eg gw ) and for other games it would be better to ask on their forums.
sexus
yeah but no logging mode ....logging mode ...please itd be appreciated a ton! must i beg? i will if i must...
as ive just tested it works grand with the splash 0 entry and exits with the game, this is million times better than the old autoit script i was using woot!!! the above request still stands thou , this is important to me please!
p.s. : other games ask on theyre forums? you mad man ? this is the only place that is concerned with texmod automation except for the tombraider forums and those are hardly active and have not one member that is experienced in scripts -.-', unlike speeder .
btw all games except for re4 use tpf files as does gw -.-', even duke nukem forever and dead space 2,dmc4, actually any dx9 game

So what's the... "current version"? Is this the one people are using? The OP never edited his post to reflect the changes.
Thanks
(What's that talk about multilauncher? I don't launch 2 guildwars at once)

People are using the executable, not the AutoIt script?
Speeder
I've posted the AutoIT script that generated the exe file in case you don't trust me, so you're free to look a page or two backwards.
I don't remember having made any changes to it since.

Ah, so any person can just compile the au3 script by itself? I didn't know that. Heck, I never heard anyone bothering to compile scripts unless they use a language that must be compiled to be run, like C.
So I thought there was more to your program than the au3 file.
It's not that I don't trust you, I don't know you, you're just a random person online.
A compiled executable could differ from the source provided, the average person won't be able to know for sure.
But now that I know anyone can compile the au3 file, I suppose I can do it myself and remove all doubt ;P There's some paths I need to change in the au3 file anyway.
Thanks, Speeder!

uhhh, no... scripting programs being used with guild wars is a big nono to begin with, i suggest taking that up with support. Botters use scripts to begin with. and honestly i dont suggest making threads involving the program so many use to bot.
Speeder
AutoIT is used to start Guild Wars but it is closed when Guild Wars does start. Hence it cannot do anything and it won't be detected as botting.
Besides, the Guild Wars anti-bot system runs on the servers detecting weird action patterns which is logical, since some botting programs skip the Guild Wars client completely as far as I know.
I've also been using this for at least a year now without any problems, and some of my friends too

Lithril,
Anyone can make a bot, simply using:
a mouse, and
a pecking toy (OK, don't know what those are called )
Does that mean we should not be allowed to use a mouse with guild wars, or not have a cute toy on our desk. Ofcourse not.
Anyone could use a knife to kill. Does that mean I shouldn't have any knives on my kitchen?
A tool is only what you make of it.
Anyway...
This is a great script. I wish I had found it sooner. Working 100%!

On topic, I've found that combining multiple mods into one package and then automatically loading that single package using an AutoIT script is faster in the long run.
Google opentpf. There's a link on the wiki's talk page of TexMod, too. Combining mods is pretty straightforward: Copy & paste the .def files together, and then insert the path to the images on the combined definition file. The path(s) will be wherever you unzipped them using opentpf. Open TexMod in build mode, point it to your combined definition file, and then you have a custom package to insert into your AutoIT script.

lol whatever kids. u dont know how many programs ive sent in to anet using the exact same program. go n feel all mighty.
sexus
can anybody make a autoit script exe for me that autoloads a certain game exe and selects logging mode in texmod silently and exits texmod silently when i exit the game?
itd be very much appreciated since the autoload texmod wont do logging mode -.-' ,peace

Code:
Line 11: Global $arrCommandLines[$_sizeCommands] = [ "email", "password", "character" ]
Thanks
Speeder
Nope, you enter those as command-line arguments to the program just like you do with gw.exe.
"...AutoTexmod.exe" -email [email protected] -password foo -character "foo bar"
Or something similar. The code doesn't need to be touched, it should be fully configurable.
If this is too hard to understand, delete the AutoTexmod.ini file and configure it up again.

Can you tell me how I would do it if I'm using the .au3, not the .exe? I did not compile it before using it.
(As you can see above, I showed the source code)
Therefore, I have:
"C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt3.exe" -email:[email protected] -password:topsecret -character:"Top Secret" "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\AutoTexmod.au3"
I think I've tried it both after the autoit exe and after the autotexmod.au3 with fail results.
Hmm I tried deleting and running the script again, but it did not log my info just like last time.
Thanks again.

The correct way is ...AutoIt3.exe AutoTexmod.au3 email, password, character but leave those colons and use a space. Also put any part that contains a space into quotes.

well anybody wanna help out what kind of community is this -.-'
