Question About Party and Alcohol Price Differences
JoeysAngyl
Alright so I've seen people selling alcohol for 100-150 gold per minute, and have seen people selling party items for 200-300 gold per point (which is what I'm trying to get). My question is since they are both 1's (minute and point) and you don't get any bonuses from them like you do from sweets, why such a difference in the price?

Probably supply and demand. Booze can be aquired through repeatable quests, and from quartermasters and their equivalents throughout the game. SParty points are rarer, with their main source being from event drops

Alcohol and sweets would be priced as high as party items, but then they would be cheaper at the traders (ie. dwarven ale and bean cakes). Party items are only worth that much because they cant be outpriced by an npc.

you can buy a point for drunkard or sweet tooth for 200g at merchants
theres no such opportunity for party title - if you want those, you gotta wait for some event
moreover, at the biggest events, there are collectors of like lunar tokens, victory tokens and similar stuff, who offer 1 party point for 5 pieces, or 3 alc/sweet points for 10, so effectively its more expensive

You can purchase dwarven ale (booze) year round from merchants in Droknar's Forge for 200 per minute.
Similarly, you can purchase red bean cakes (sweets) year round in Shing Jea for 200 per point (400 per cake).
To my knowledge, party items can only be farmed in quantity during special events.

Also, drunken title is way more annoying to get, atleast to most.

Aren't you also able to farm party items year round from the snowman dungeon?
HawkofStorms
Yes you are Jayson, but even then they are slow going.
Furthermore, stuff like the z-chest, another big supply of booze/party/sweets drops cremes and firewater at a rate of like 20 times that of tonics.
Also, many of the smaller events that occur throughout the year just don't drop any party points (st patricks, easter, thanksgiving, international talk like a pirate day all drop sweets and/or booze ONLY).

i think the party items r more scarce, considering they usually come around the holidays... kinda sorta maybe?
Luminarus
Party items are more scarce
Booze/Sweet have an unlimited supply, and price ceiling
Booze is a harder title to obtain
Party title is newer, and hence more popular.

Drinks are easy to farm...takes only like 4 minutes to run Irontoe's lair, that's WITH working on Deldrimor and Survivor title all in one...Party items only come at like Christmas and Halloween, holidays basically.
