Just an idea about making making the predicitons end at a set date as the current 2nd last week or last week of a month can be a bit confusing.
Maybe the 21st or 22nd it doesn't matter just so theres some way to recognise it as a certain day.
Making A Set Date For Predictions

/signed, I always seem to remember a day after the date has passed, but If o could plug it into my calender it would be fantastic.
Luminarus
I just put up my new predictions the day after i recieve the old tournies points so i dont forget. If i remember later, I can change em, but this way I dont miss out completely.
Arcane Spark
Lumin, the only bad thing about that is you miss out on adding guilds like rawr that like to sneak in at the last second.

It's easy, the predictions can be made till the very moment when the tournament starts and pairings are selected. So you don't need to remember anything, Tolkano will tell you when the tournament starts, always.
And it's the only reasonable way it could work - some guilds get their last needed QPs in the last day or even hours before the Monthly, and while it may be surprising for some, those guilds often make Top8.
So no change is needed and change would be bad.

Well If it was palced on maybe 20th or on a certain date in which it is before the last weekend of that month, As I agree that the actual competition should be the primary concern.
Wasn't aware that it ended the day before the tourniment, always thought it was a week or so.
A login announcement that the tourniment is under way would be handy though.

Too bad half the guilds that's good enough for top 8 qualify in the last week. Which makes setting any date that's significantly before the mAT completely stupid.
Stupid Shizno
I believe there is a set date for predictions, and that date is 1 hour prior to the mAT beginning.....so theres your answer.
