Electric this was never about deleting anything lol. I started this post to see whether people were at a place in the game where it simply wasnt worth the effort to re-run chars to the place they lost them at. IE wealth titles gear etc. and after reading all the posts, id say about 80% just wouldnt have the excitement and drive to do it all over again.
I have read soooo many posts about the jump the shark moment in GW and whether the game is broken etc. One common theme in all those posts is they never address whether people really are stickin with it because they still love the game OR they feel obligated to themselves because of the MASSIVE and i mean MASSIVE amount of time invested in GW. Its easy to speculate how the game should be different and the difference it would make to each of us but this post kinda proves GW is now about maintaining what weve accomplished. those new players have all the vigor and spark that drove each of us to our first goals and benchmarks. Those of us who have been here since the start are simply piling on for the sake of piling on (wealth loot etc). can anyone really say they get all amped up for anything besides maybe weekend events (x mas)? Im not making blanket statements on any group im simply saying that looking at all the posts on this thread leads me to the conclusion that this game has reached its shelf life. Cronk |
