How long does it take?

My friend had a pretty cool name that he named his assassin, but because he didn't really do anything on it, he deleted it. Now I want to name my new assassin that name, but it said it's taken even though he deleted it already. How long do I have to wait so that I can make a character with that name?

The name is reserved for one hour after it is deleted.

Either it's one hour reserved, or 24 hours. Don't recall which. My money's on one hour.

i also think its one hour, but if its a popular name theres a good chance its already been taken.

Depends how fast you made your name after your friend deleted his. If it's like 5 minutes, the name is reserved, but if its a few days, then someone might already have taken it.

Try adding the name to your friends list. If someone took it, they're probably online. If it says "no player with such name exists" or w/e, then it's reserved for a bit.

Yep, 1 hour reserves for names on your account after you delete them.
Remade a couple characters a few months ago to my main account.
Waited a mere hour.

Add to ur friends list, if it puts a new person in there (other then ur friend) uve missed out. If it says this person is alrdy listed under (Friends name here), then its still reserved. If neither, then try again.
