Does Regina Buenaobra have big town partys like Gaile gray used to?

I never see Regina Buenaobra get involved with the guildwars community i miss Gaile

like the kinga thing? no.
but she has been on a few events like dvdf's

well it seems like the community person should be involved with the community. It is almost like they are there but not there and do not care but I know this aint so. Someone tell me it aint so.

Different people have different personalities and different mandates. Maybe its in that.

Does Regina actually play the game on a regular basis?

By that, I don't mean "has an account" or "gets on to check her friendlist" or something.

I think its pretty likely she'll play the game but on an account that none of the guild wars community knows about.Lets be honest, getting surrounded by 50 sicophantic morons every time you zone into LA, pretending to know you and trying to force you to take different 'gifts'off of them must begin to grate after you have done it a few times,not to mention the countless whispers she would recieve during normal gameplay.Gaile Gray likes that sort of thing, apparently Regina doesnt , and who can blame her?

I assume by town party, you mean when Gaile used to go into an international district and hang out for an hour or so and answer peoples questions? I think Regina has done that two or three times, but I'm not sure. I've attended one for a brief period. That being said she does hold those district meetings, just rarely.

Makes them all the more special though.

There is no reason for her to hang out in towns answering questions. Because half of those questions will be about GW2, which she cannot answer, and the other half about Auction Houses. She also doesnt seem to be a big fan of Miniatures so she cant do what Gaile did and stand around commenting on miniatures and Frogs.

It really does not matter what she does, she is going to get griped at all the same.
If she goes into town and answers questions she will be bombarded with the most retarded questions that could possibly be asked just like Gaile was.
If she does nothing then she gets people crying that she does not do anything.

Lets face it, Gaile set the bar pretty high for community relations as far as showing up and interacting with the community. Regina so far has VERY little presence in game or on the fan boards so people just don't feel like they have someone on their side on the GW team. Gaile didn't always have the best answers for questions, may not have talked about much else than minipets, and skirted around the questions that the majority of the community really wanted answered, but her presence was felt thruout the community.
