Birthday Presents

Cleaning out my storage and clearing stuff to make space, accidentally delete some stuff. and then was re-arranging my minis: why can't we bring our birthday presents and masks over to GW2?

Why would you want that? GW2 is a different game.. live with it.

uhm...you can put minipets in your HoM and event masks are such an obscure thing that i'm sure the devs aren't worried about those right now

Why can't we bring our masks over? Well, I'm sure GW2 will have it's own masks to collect.

Though, then again, I'm sure the same logic could be used to minis.

I prefer new content, especially for bonuses like these. GW1 will still be online when GW2 releases, so you can still play with them. Also, there is no information on what exactly the HoM will do with respect to minipets placed there. The only thing ANet has said that touches on this is that no items in GW1 transfer to GW2. I presume that includes the minis, too.

Let's hope we get some kind of perk , like an extra skill slot, or 3 extra frag grenades.

Mini pets, in a lore sense, are actually little toys. The Mini Grey Giant quests shows this. (excluding Mini Black Moa Chick - only known living minipet (as it's not really mini, just a little baby bird).

While I would like it if we can transfer Event Masks, there would be 10 times more QQ about "bring back old masks."

And we can do the most we can with minipets - put them in our HoM. What we get for them would probably be just one minipet based on how many minis (1-20) we put in the HoM

I hope for 4 different minipets, 4 different "rarities": 1-5 minis in HoM=white, 6-10 minis in HoM=purple, 11-15 minis in HoM=gold, 16-20 minis in HoM=green

Then I will laugh at all those who put every single super rare minipet in their HoM. And at those who got over 20 minipets because they thought more=better to the point of infinity.

If people could transfer minis over to GW2 then the economy would plummet within hours. Everyone needs to start the same way to make it fair. Of course, we get some sort of prestige based on the HoM.

The rabbit isn't listed as a miniature either, since it is also full size. Assuming there isn't some background reason for it not to be, I see no reason to conclude it isn't alive.

Or.........for every year / xxxx hours played you get to take over 1 favourite object of your choice - (auto modded to fit in with GW2 system)..........

This would:
Give regular players a pat on the back / thanks for sticking with us for soooooooo long while we develop a new game for you.
Make more players play GW to get the extra time in thereby increasing GW player base (or at least try and make up for the mass exodus when GW2 finally hits the streets).


Who knows what they will come up with ...............oh: HoM = prestiege - but don't we want something real ?(as real as an online game gets anyway).

Now if they would take the mini's that we have and turn them into MOUNTS now we got something going. Although I do not know how you will mount the rurick. Maybe he will fight at your side as a ghost as everything will be dead as Mad King Thorn said.

Either way I am starting to fill my hall with stuff now. I am hoping that the game does not come out until 2010 so that I have time to gather everything that I need for it.
