Inscription question

Halves skill recharge of Curses spells (Chance: 20%)
Energy +5 (while Enchanted)


..ok let's say this is a collector wand.

Can I change HSR with inscription that gives HSR to all spells instead? Or some other inscription? (which one)


Or is it impossible to change that HSR and I can only change +5 energy mod?

well to my knowledge collectors items cant be changed anyway, but lets say this was changable, the inscription would be the energy mod, and the 20% hsrc is the wand wrapping. you could change that wrapping to a 10% hsrc of all spells. 10% is a max upgrade for all spells, 20% is max for a specific attribute.

You didn't say where you got the weapon. Is it inscribable in the first place? A weapon is inscribable if it has the notation "Inscription: <name>" or "Inscription: None" on it. Otherwise the modifiers are built in and can't be changed. Collector wands, from any campaign, are never inscribable.

On an inscribable wand, the energy while enchanted would be provided by a "Have Faith" inscription, which could be changed for any other inscription that applies to spellcasting weapons. The HSR 20% would be provided by a Wand Wrapping of Memory, which could be replaced by a Wand Wrapping of Quickening to get HSR 10% for all spells. There is no inscription that provides HSR.to a wand, only the wrappings.

True but you can craft your own weapons, destroyer and the like but then again it might be best just to suck it up and but the weapon or mods that you need. Most people have something in their storage to help you out with the removal of some of your gold.

Ok what I want to do is buy Arcane Scepter or whatever is the name of that FC wand.

But I don't need 20% HRS on FC spells, for obvious reasons The wand looks cool and would serve some purposes with my SoI builds.

There are some collectors with trashy mods and also weaponsmith with clean weapon but that's 5k. It would've been cheaper to get collectors and change mods.

So I was wondering if that's possible but someone said I can't change inscription in collector weapon..
