At the login screen, there is an option that says, "Create Account or Add Access Key." After you have activated it, type /bonus to get your imp stone.

Hmm, odd. Never heard of that particular way of getting the Igneous Stone.
Anyway, I assume the "pin" would be in the form of an access code. Just go to the login screen and add it to your existing account(option appears right under where you enter your password). After that typing /bonus in an outpost will have the Igneous Stone appear in your invo, provided you have the room for it.
But if your "pin" isn't an access code, then you got yourself cheated.

You can now purchase the Igneous Summoning Stone for $4.99 in the in-game store. It's called the Guild Wars 2008 Upgrade.
I assume you can buy it elsewhere also.

1. have you tried typing /bonus, because usually in-game purchase is put to your account automatically.
2. If it's not there then http://www.plaync.com/us/support/doc_2960.html?prod=48 seems to cover your question. This support page mentions a serial code as opposed to the access key.
