Hero Battle Daily Tourny

Ive been doing the Daily Tourny for week now, and I do alright, but thats besides the point.

Anyways. Everytime I play in it. You always find a group or at least half of the people who enter they Forfeit or Purposely lose to you. When I asked one guy why he does that he told me that hes "Tanking" it.

So what is Tanking? as I dont understand how you would benifit from losing or forfeiting on purpose.

tanking so they can go low on the ladder and get easy matches or "tanking his rank"

People lose on purpose to lower their rank. Having lower rank means they fight people who are less good. This gives them easy wins. It's a way to farm Commander title points.
