Hey everyone,
Like about 2 days ago I tryed to run Guild Wars, I double-clicked the application,
and screen with Connecting To Arena Net appeared. It usually took like 2 seconds to load. But this time nothing happened, it just was on 0%. I waited for quite a long time and still nothing happened. I tryed to restart my computer but it didn't solve the problem. If anyone had the same problem and knows the solution please tell me what to do, or show me the link if there is already a solution for this problem on this site,
Appreciated.

You need to ensure you are connected to the internet, that there is sufficeint bandwidth available and that your firewall is also configured correctly.

You haven't really provided enough information to troubleshoot the issue.

If you can connect to the Internet, make sure your ISP hasn't started blocking access to GW or rate limited traffic going that way.

Also make sure you haven't hit your bandwidth cap as many ISPs reduce what you are allowed to see once you have hit a bandwidth cap.

All ISPs use bandwidth sharing so at busy times you may have problems accessing bandwidth heavy applications like games and sites like youtube.

It could also be a problem with your installation of the application.

Try running a gw.exe -update from the command prompt or Run box in the guildwars directory. This will force an update of your GW files.

Also, make sure your HDD has at least 15% free space in the drive where windows is installed, and if gw is on a different drive/partition make surethere's 4-5GB available for file transfers/updates.

If that fails, try reinstalling gw and then contact anet through the plaync support site.

How can I make sure I haven't hit my bit cap and my ISP isn't blocking access to GW?

Also I noticed my Net started working really slow. I did not try re-installing the game yet, I just want to know if there is a way to overcome this w/o re-installing.

Anyway,
I tryed to run GW today, and it worked, and I did not change anything.
Thanks for help caballo_oscuro, I think the reason was overflow of my ISP.
