Rt/A AB Build

Hi Guru Community,

I was in AB today and I noticed that this build was pretty good. It has good survivability against melee and pretty good team support. I just want to know what you guys think and how I can make it any better, but still have as much fun as I did using this build.

This build is really fun to use, mind trying it before you critizise?

Superior rune is a big "lolwat" to me.

VWK requires someone to be stupid to be effective.

Apart from that, I guess it's okay.

Ditch VwK cause of what Tyla said and you'll be holding BwM most of the time (I think).

Consider Weapon of Remedy or Caretaker's Charge for your elite slot.

Ditch the 3 last skills (use your resto spells for self healing) and either bring a running stance (Dash comes in mind) or ditch the Assassin secondary completely and go Rt/E with a few points in air magic for storm djinn's haste.

1) You drop items whilst teleporting
2) Why are you even trying to teleport into enemies (deaths charge)?
3) 2 of ur skills (warding and distress) counter the effectiveness of ur elite.

Try swapping deaths charge for dash, shroud for dark escape. You can leave deaths retreat there, but since ur a resto, id rather run return. Also, new elite. Weapon of Remedy, or Xinraes work fine. Caretakers means u have to spec into channeling, and imo its not rly worth it.

@Tyla: lol you'll be surprised at how stupid some sins are in AB.

Well, Idk its fun to use when your bored, so w/e I'll leave it up for people to look at it some more.

And VwK is more of a survivability thing, a lot of melee characters run from you.

If you’re having fun playing this build, I say go for it. But I can’t honestly see how this build would contribute a whole lot to any team. Ya, you might blind someone, or throw up a WoW or two. But as was mentioned in another post, this build would only work if the other team was obsessed with chasing you around as you block/blind and shadow step around. Assuming of course the other three players can cause enough damage to actually kill someone. At the root of it, your elite doesn’t fit your other skills.

At the end of a fight, just because you’re the last to die doesn’t make your build good. I just say that because I have little doubt this is the case, you probably run around as your team slowly dies.

I tried to stay positive.

I can imagine it would work.
Ive killed warriors in ab only using [[weapon of remedy] and [[vengeful weapon] on myself.

People here don't seem to remember that AB is not about killing.
So it will probably work.

I tried a build with [[lively was noami] once, jut to res myself worked quite well, to stay alive.

And if not it is for killing the opponent VwK is a good defence

I used to run it at Aspy and I still remember some warrior and assassin suckers that killed themselves trying to take me down (multiple times!) and then started asking in the local chat if I can even be killed!?
And since I wasn't feeling nice I just said that everything can be killed.
What I didn't tell them that it kinda helps if one doesn't dump half one's skill points into Healing Prayers ....

1) Ha! The elite made me laugh!
2) Ha! The Shadow Step skills made me laugh!

First off, VwK is a horrible skill. I find it ineffective for farming even.
Second, Is this a heal? I'm not sure where you are going with this. Death Charge? Are you going to shadow step to the enemy for a self heal?
Third, don't fight stupid people with a build that counters stupidity.
Oh, don't forget number four. Playing a toucher is fun, but doesn't mean it's good. To most people winning is fun. To other people playing stupid is fun.

For example, me and some guildies were playing a toucher spike. After we won, we grabbed the rez orb and manage to get our team and three other people to charge the base. It was ROFLMAO for us and the losing team.

If it's fun go ahead and play it. But if it lets down your team, that's an entire different story.
