Right. What's your point? I didn't say use the Sin to spike down enemy teams. I said use the Sin to spike down stragglers. Stragglers don't have Monks with them, and you see lots of stragglers in AB. If a Monk is present of course you don't use Assassin's Promise.

So the only reason you will use your Assassin is to fish for stragglers without Monks aiding them?

I think you could probably benefit from having a Ranger, or Mesmer, much more as the AoE is overkill for shrine capping. While, in theory, the synergy is good for the most part it seems unpractical to use. Especially if someone gets split either by force, or player error.

but hunting stragglers as an assassin is the most enjoyable, sadistic fun one can have in ab. what if i wanna do that?

also, it has already been elaborated how AP can function in group fights.
