Derv/para armor in Cantha!

5v8. thats how many elite armors derv/paras get vs. sins/rits not counting eotn.

SS, vabbi, ancient, primeval, obsidian. for d's and p's

Canthan, exotic, imperial, lux/kurz, vabbi, ancient and obsidian for sins and rits

Now after a LONNNNNG wait they finally got off their butts to put in one scythe and spear in cantha. though for a while we've had the d/p lux/kurz skills. (I actually remembe rmaking a thread about scythes/spears in cantha).

All thats left to complete the circle is armor. I think the most appropriate would be lux and kurz. I mean we can use skills for them but they don't have armor for us? what a croc!

I never liked how gw treats the newer classes with little love and trying to somehow keep them in their own little campaign. Yet sins and rits can come into elona's backyard and grab their own nifty armor. I would love to see some jade or amber-ish themed derv/para armor =)

Yeah there's been loads of these Q.Q'ing threads the past few days, weeks, months and years since NF has come out.

Anet only introduces new armour going forward in the campaigns... They're well aware of demand for extra armours in factions and prophs for the extra professions not mentioned in those campaigns.

At the moment, I'd say all the artists are working on GW2 and don't have the time to work new armours into 1. So I'd say it's going to be a while, at least until GW2 is up and running before any more significant artwork is put into GW1 if any at all, ever.

Your best bet is to wait until the HoM update. I doubt they're giving us new armor sets, but it would be the most reasonable time to get them considering how they're potentially updating the HoM system.

But don't get your hopes up.

They NEED to add more armor sets for para and derv for the HoM,even if they are reskins that are done in 2 hrs/each they need to be done for the HoM.

No, they don't. You do not NEED to fill the HoM. If you WANT to fill the HoM, you only need 5 elite armor sets to do that. All classes have more than 5 sets available. Derv and Para have 8, so you can pick the 5 you like best. If there aren't 5 you like, then use sets you don't like just for the HoM. Personally, I only like 2 of the elite Monk armor sets, and they have more available than Derv or Para. I put those 2 sets in the HoM, and ignored the rest. Classes I like armor sets for, I put in 5 sets I liked, and I wouldn't mind getting other sets for some of those classes.

5/8 is an easy number to deal with.
