Titles for The Deeps, Urgoz, DOA, Sorrow's Furnace, FOW and UW, The Last Heirophant

There should be titles granted to beating Urgoz, The Deep, The Last Heiorphant, Fissue of Woe, Underworld, Sorrow's Furnace and Domain of Anguish. The statues you get to display in hom for most of these places are nice, but the titles would help a lot more, especially to classes that has beaten it, yet still get so much class discrimination for it, such as an Assassin.

I play an Assassin and have beaten most of them and didn't need the typical perma build for it. The title would be proof (w/o dragging a pug to your hom to show you know how to work this mission/quest) that it can be done.

It is annoying when you see pugs class discriminating only to make an elitist team enjoy an epic failure in less time it took them than assembling the team.

A title for each area? hell no.

One title for all areas? Maybe.

I made a thread about titles for elite areas a while ago (use search ftw), and I think you've managed to point out one of the major cons of the idea already:
A good number of people in the thread I made said title=elitistness.
That and the whole no more titles thing.
If this were ever to fly, it should include tombs and SF.

But regardless, after seeing the logical responses to my old post, /notsigned.

Forget the statue in HOM, the titles help against class discrimination. You can't always pick an ELE with FOW armor that tends to do horribly, or a monk that does nothing but rage quit.

titles should be allowed. those who dont sign are just threatened.

Maybe so, but titles help title discrimination.
Example:
Lets call the title elitist (ironic, yes)
"GLF MORE FOR FOW, R5+ ELITIST ONLY"

There are plenty of goddam titles to reach r6 KoBD already. You don't need more. The recent bumps to the grind titles should be enough. If there was a title for every area, then I'd agree to ANet making there 8 ranks of KoBD, just so you're still a few grind titles away from max. No moar titles, sir.

However, I might be leaning towards a single title for having beaten all of the elite areas (Tombs included, cause it's sort of an elite area). No second one for HM completion, cause even that's still easy.

Anything can be done by anything. Getting an Elite Mission once doesn't mean that you can do it easily, you could have been an idiot in a good group.

Two things: 1) How would this fix discriminating? It won't. 2) Titles are elitism.

Or better yet, how about one title for every explorable area I make it through while on a Primary Quest?

Hell with it, just give me a title for every explorable area I set foot into.

Towns and outposts, too.

And dungeons. One title for setting foot there, another for completion.

And I REALLY think there should be a title for how much money we have. For every 100k in xunlai storage, you get a new tier:

r1: Money In The Bank
r2: Heavily Invested
r3: Independently Wealthy
r4: Very Well-Off
r5: Trust-Fund Kid (eligible for monument)
r6: New Money
r7: Scrooge McDuck
r8: Jew
r9: Oil Baron
r10: I Ebay All My Gold (counts toward KOABD track)

Once you earn a particular tier you keep the rank, even if you drop back below the threshold.

Something like that.

not enough of an achievement to be used for title. if u know what ur doing so much, form ur own non-discrimination group.

conquering all the areas is a bit more difficult then protector of factions. so i think it deserves a title, ive already came up with the title name, in a prior post many months ago, Legendary Conqueror (1), only 1 teir, counts to kobd, and must complete all elite areas to obtain title. HoM statues will verify if a char has completed them prior to title being inplace.

its another title, yes, but they added a lot worse titles in the game then a title to show you cleared all elite areas. if your going to whine about this, your either whining because you dont want people to have a highger rank in kobd to be as cool as you, or you cant get into groups to do these missions and dont want others to have another title. either way, your a selfish scrub

I can only agree to this on four conditions:

1) Tombs is included (this means gets a HoM statue and counts to the title)
2) the Titan Quests are included (same as Tombs, but also made repeatable - DoA style *have to do them in order of how we originally get them, so no repeating Titan Source over and over)
3) Have to do each in NM and in HM. Total of 2 times each elite area.
4, and most important) Included in a revamp to Tombs, Sorrow's, and Titan Quest (possibly another revamp of UW/FoW/DoA *including nerfs and new items*), with these suggestions as a background.

That is all.

I have NEVER heard anyone in the game talk or act like you guys are suggesting they would if this title were added. I see people displaying the MGHSORM or the GWAMM titles, but nobody ever boasting about them. I have never seen people form groups demanding that certain criteria be met. I have never seen "title discrimination". I have seen "class discrimination", but only rarely. I wouldn't mind the title. I think titles have motivated me to do a lot of things in the game that I normally would not have. As a result, I have found very enjoyable facets of the game that I would not have otherwise known existed. Because there is no title for the elite missions, up until last night I had only done Tombs. I attempted FoW HM last night and had a blast. Now I want to get it done and try Urgoz and some others. It would be nice to get a title for it. I'm okay not getting one, but this whole "title discrimination" seems ludicrous to me. Surely you can come up with a reason that has some sort of foundation before blowing the OP off.

To the OP, PUGing is always hit or miss. Showing a title won't help you get into a good group. Like you said, many of them will wipe pretty quickly anyway. Your presence won't fix that. Go with people you know are competent. I would typically would rarely allow a smiting monk in my party, but one of my guild officers runs as one and does a phenomenal job. Knowing the person and their capabilities makes all the difference in getting onto a good team.

Elite missions rewards are good enough you get a Statue for your HoM as for titles they should have one for dancing r6 would be dancing for 10k minutes lol jk there are to many titles already

Would this really help getting rid of discrimination? People may leech off groups just to get this title, which proves nothing really. I'm not saying leechers will find a group at all elite areas, however when you can easily leech at DoA and someone with the title is looking for a group for DoA, they may know nothing of how to do certain farms, as they may have just leeched the whole area.
