i have a little confusion here, now i know when speaking of weapons the definition of old school are pretty much a non inscribable weapon.

But what of the staves? it mean the same thing(non inscribable) or they are those old staff with a different order in attribute listing?

And what about the value (in general, clearly that depend also on the skin). Its the same, higher, much higher?

also do shield with
+x armor, -y damage while z

and

-x damage while xxx
-y damage while yyy

still drop?

Here is an example of an "oldschool" Staff: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10337153
Nowadays they all have a20% HSR-mods. That wasn't always the case.

About the word "oldschool": For some it applies to all non-inscribable weapons.
To others only items that don't drop anymore (like dual damage reduction shields, Staffs that don't have a universal 20% HSR-mod etc).
