I havent found any thread about this weekend's event, so here's one. ^^

Right on Random PvPer here to get everyone killed... What? I have no idea what I am doing. What my war build should not have monk skills? WHY NOT it works in PvE.

So um I have some interesting questions. What is HA? I have never been there. Hero's Ascent I realize that but is that where my hero can go and fight one on one with something?

Is it a 4 man team or one on one?

Tell you what For 100K I will stay away from HA how's that? NO? well I will see you all in HA if I can find where that is exactly...

Gl getting rich from hohchest in 2 days. Even if you hold all weekend long you'll have like 0.01% chance for a good drop, only steady income are zkeys. And thats not much.

Personally, I've got no problem with randomways at all. You should rather gather your friends and make a proper team tho.

I'd really like to get in on this. Last time one of these happened got into a good group of guildies that went all the way to Courtyard, furthest I've ever been. Got like 30 some fame... all I need is a few more runs that far and I can get to r3 and avoid some of the rank hate >_<.

It's terribly cliched and probably won't work, but if anyone wants to run some randomway or if an organized team is looking for an extra player, let me know.

The first account I played on had some fame, this one doesn't. I never felt like going back with all the rank discrimination and all (for the record, nothing wrong with wanting r6+ but I'm on the outside so QQ)

Anyway, I might head back this weekend, probably in one of those PvE randomway teams. People can feel free to PM me if they need a midline - well, anything really, I'm just best with midliners.

What some people fail to realize is that by the very nature of pvp, for some people to win greater than half the time, others have to lose more than half the time. So so long as the (relatively) experienced people make up most of the teams, so long as THEY don't suck horribly, new people are always going to have horrendous win ratios, not necessarily through any fault of their own, but rather because they don't possess the magical ability to conjure months/years of play experience out of nothing. Yes, they can get better, but you can't expect them to achieve stunning victory on day 1.

When all you can do is randomway, it doesn't matter how good you are, you're still gonna fail miserably.
And yes, 1 hour is accurate. I'm more fond of TA, but Ascalon Area is fun once in a while.

Anyway for all those complaining about anet giving a weekend to HA, is just stupid cus everything gets a weekend eventually so if HA is not your thing bad luck but you will get a weekend that suits you eventually.
