Figuring out what I've done

I started playing Guild Wars prophecies a long time ago. I played it until I got a Mac and then stopped because I couldn't get it to work inside Crossover Games until recently.

Is there a way for me to figure out what missions I've accomplished?

I'm in the same boat, but a bit unclear on the map symbols (it's been a VERY long time). I didn't get very far when I stopped playing..., so I have a symbol on my map for fort ranik and one for the great northern wall...but isn't the GNW "before" the Fort Ranik Mission?
Also, there's a sword symbol over the GNW "shield" symbol...what does that mean?

HonorAlexandria, you can go back and repeat a mission any time you choose. That's why they both have shield symbols to show that they are missions. In Prophecies, a single sword over the shield means that the mission was completed, two swords means you also completed the bonus objective that may or may not be explicitly stated at the start.

Basically if Fort Ranik doesn't have a sword, that's where you should head.

zelgadissan, thanks! that makes a lot more sense now. You know, I think I knew that but had forgotten. I must sound so stupid, but it's been a long time.

So I'm redoing the Great Northern Wall mission anyway (I need to do the bonus mission).. but because I did it before, does that explain why I'm not getting XP for killing monsters?

You get XP for killing an enemy who is greater or equal to five levels below you - for example if you're level 12, a level 6 enemy will not give you experience but a level 7 enemy will.
