Useless to everyone who has more than one of the original campaigns and those who don't have access to that three-campaign pack for $40 I've seen.

I'd rather see a $5 pack that introduces a few more weapons and another armor to every class.

Well, its kinda silly since the online store is such a ripoff compared to every single retail chain out there. You can get the GW games cheaper in bundle packs elsewhere. I guess this helps people in like... Austrilia who often have trouble getting access to games at good prices, but to 90% (approx) of GW's target market, this isn't that helpful.

Us Austrilian's are even less likely to use the store - We have to pay in Sterling where which results in an extra 20-30% above EB prices.

I've recently upgraded my secondary account with Nightfall not long ago, and i don't have any other campaign that I wanted. also the 50% off was not offered then but what happens if you don't want any other campaigns, you know in cases where you already have all?

Though EB have stopped stocking GW as far as I can tell, JB HiFi have started stocking it at a better price than EB ever offered. Hell, I ordered most of my games from the UK and STILL paid less than the stock standard rate at EB.

And paying in sterling (from the online store), not at this exchange rate! Whoever decided that Australia, who still has a relatively strong economy compared to the rest of the western world, should have a dollar value so much lower than coutries who are apparently in recession is completely beyond me.

It's not silly, retailers won't stock box copies if the online market outdoes them. This is why things like Steam always cost more.

Here in South Africa for me to get the bundle with all 3 campaigns plus eotn is 500 South African Rand, or around $50. Why would I want to buy anything from the plaync store?

I'm kinda old school and prefer to have the Disk "in hand" rather than just DL the material so any deals they put in the Online Store really won't temp me much unless it's an AMAZING deal, as far as the campains go.

Let me spend $5 in the store to open up some more map, plenty of areas still clouded over with no access points. Of course it would need to be cost worthy, I wouldn't pay $5 for a "Relm of Dawayna" new content area, now I would spen $5 for several new "relms" or $5 for 5 or so new explorable zones. Well I'm off topic. I'll shut up now.

Call me lame but I bought all the campaigns (including bonus missions and pvp pack) from PlayNC store to support the company.

The discount isn't that much good, I agree, but it's still better that nothing.

P.S. That being said I didn't use the discount... as it wasn't available back then.

I'd consider buying second account if Anet changed payment options for Australians. Charging GBP is ridiculous and cruel. The online store will not get my business for anything over 5pounds until this stupid oversight is fixed.

^ This. I don't know who decided that the Au zone belongs with the UK. Consistantly the price in the GW store has been more expensive than buying in an Australian EB which is more expensive than importing the US version including shipping! (albeit that was before the economy flipped upside down)

I hope this is fixed for GW2, this has always been one of the major annoyances for me in gw.
