60K. What would you spend it on.
The Meth
Well, I would actually have gotten something like 150k, and what I would do is go to all of the explorable areas, scatter an equal amount of 1g pieces all around the area, then zone out. It's called reinvesting in the monsters, that would save the guild wars economy, right?
newbie_of_doom

party animal points o_o
KamikazeChicken
60k compared to the millions I'm already sitting on... it'd probably sit in my storage as lockpicks. Eventually I'd have to blow it all on something because it wouldn't do me any good as gold though.

Prob cap sigs for skill title since i maxed my armor section in HOM.

The real question is - why wouldnt you have at least 60k coming your way every month?
If this does seem like a lot of money to you please make your MAT predictions here every month - even if you haven't got a clue who is in a chance of winning you can check the relevent monthly threads that crop up in Gladiators arena in the GVG and HvH section for predicitons from people in the know. Im pretty much a casual player at best now but with access to four accounts I have a tidy sum rolling in each month - it completely negates the need to farm without worrying about going without shiny new toys.
Infact if Anet are wondering whats ruining the economy - other than the mighty shadowform it's this - lots of players have multiple accounts and on average are getting 100k plus worth of zkeys per month - per account.

Is the GWwiki right or is it really 60k ish?
Zamochit
Its 18k for completion of NM Book- 36k for completion of HM Book in each campaign I think.
Obviously this makes Cantha the most finantially attractive proposition due to its shortness.

Minus the 100g per page ya would have to buy for the NM and HM retro books?

Cookies! preety much all I do with my gold these days... or just put it in storage and never use it again.
Dr.Jones
i would most likely store it. and then latter spend it on something useless like armor or a title.
wind fire and ice
If i got 60k right now i would put it in storage for a day or two 'till i had the little bit of extra cash i need for another set of Chaos Gloves.

Buy as many ghost in a box as you can and run around using them all in Kamadan D1 while flashing any emotes you have.

I would use the money to pay the exact 60k crafting fee for my new necro's Elite Profane armor.
Oh well, looks like i'll be SHADOW FORM farming for the money then, if anyone GETS THE HINT.

Keep on saving with just 1k I made 500k 4 weeks later from buying mini pets for cheap and selling them to earn profit.

Seriously though, I'm prepping to buy my first (and probably last) set of Obsidian armor. It's the last armor set I need before I have an elite armor from every crafter in the game -- one set of everything so I can see all my characters in all armors when/if the account-wide HoM update occurs.
I've got all the materials but with only 83k or so left in storage, I'll be a handsome beggar after this next purchase.
Now, if I had a stimulus package from ANet...
=P
Marty Silverblade
If I had to spend it, I'd buy armor; though I'd probably just put it in storage.
Voodoo Rage
Stack of saurian bones, baby!
Bowstring Badass
Daenara
Sweets :/ ....

Reading this, I'm not getting the sense that the economy would get any more ruined than it already is.
Hyper Cutter
Armor. Plenty I'd like to get still.
Qing Guang
You're right. Most of the money would either be ignored or immediately drained out of the economy again through armor purchases. However, it also doesn't seem worth it - despite the complaining, it looks like about 60-70% of the people posting here would just stick it in storage and build a little platinumcastle out of it. Admittedly, I think we're getting a disproportionately large representation of rich people here (I'm scraping by with 6k atm, haha), but still, why bother?
AKB48
Save it, you can't do much with 60k.
Darkobra
Give it to the first person to type a complete and coherent sentence.

Probably nothing. I'm one that hoards what I can until the last moment. As such I will hoard what I can until we know for sure what and how things will transfer. I will only spend gold on anything I currently want for no reason other than wanting. In the long run I expect that 60k would be spent on weapons or prestige armor because that is what I have left to fill (and not enough to fully fill, but close). I would rather log into GW2 four hours later and have exactly what I want than log in immediately and think for the next few months (or even years) - gosh I wish I had spent this there.
Almost all my monuments are where I want them regardless of money. Of those that are not I am so split as to where to spend the money I probably wouldn't.
I have my mini and hero monument full and my current playtime will further those two anyway. Even though I already have to choose what to display I will easily have more armors for my heroes and significantly more mini's in the next few months. I am already to the point of trading around undedicated mini's and have WAY more than needed (and none purchased as of yet - all what I got in game).
Titles are mostly full - at least all but a small handful are are at the point that I either have the resources to achieve (when needed) or I will never get (say, Luzon title - just not worth the time).
My weapon monument is *not* full but I have the resources to fill it when they finalize how it will work. I see no reason for my dervish to customize a necro rod when my necro will most likely be able too, but then I'm worried that if my necro goes ahead and purchases a wand/offhand or staff then I will have to get another set anyway. Other than my Dervish (who already has all the skins she wants) there is nothing really outside of the HOM to purchase for.
Armor is really the only place I may spend. But even then i would most likely wait. The only full set I have is with my warrior - all of my others mix and match. If they choose to allow each piece to be checked in (instead of each set) then I would have right around four sets. I would only need a set of vabbian leggins to make my vabbian complete so I would go ahead and purchase that one. I do not have enough here to fill it out - but then 60k isn't going to make a large enough dent for me to worry with either.
Eh, at this point I see no real need to purchase anything outside of any thing just needed to play. Until we know for certain what the HOM is going to do I'll just wait.
That being said I think they were right - just the influx from the MOX quests was enough. I hoarded that one too and I suspect that those that kept it would this one, those that would spend it would. What they are saying is accurate. So, as much as I would the gold from completing said books I know why they didn't.

60k isn't much at all. Hardly a 50k elite armor set (including materials, dyes, and runes). So I'd save it, then spend on tickets for 9rings when the Canthan New Year roles around.
That or I'd buy 60k worth of Ectos raising it from 5.5k to 6k. My Ritualist needs his FoW armor set.
