Loading issue

hello everyone. i'm new to Guild Wars and i have a question ^.^

do i have to re-download the arena map at the every start of random arena?

even if i enter the same map i was playing 5 minutes ago, i must download it again

is this a bug? other people have to download too?

No, you shouldn't have to download it again. You'll have to load the map, of course. Here's a tip: try the -image function and have it run overnight to download all files.

im sorry but what is a -image function and how do i use it? im a noob sry

if you're on xp just go to the properties of the GW icon, and type -image after what's already there... this will download all the game files. Make sure you remove -image again when you actually want to play as it will only download while that function is still on.

With Vista it's a little more complicated, but there's a great run through somewhere here on the forums. Do a search and you should be able to find it.
