Why do people assume that lag always has to be ANet's fault? The internet is a big place and you have to take a long road to get anywhere. If there's a problem, such as a bad router, anywhere along the route between
you and the GW servers, you can have lag.
And, yes, we've all heard the "but everything else works" routine. It's "everything else
you've tried" not "everything else that takes the same routing path".
Think of it like a big city. You want to get across town to the Wal-Mart, but the major bridge across the river, that you have to cross, is down to one lane because of construction. Meanwhile, the roads to the Best Buy on the other side of town are clear. "I can't get to the Wal-mart, but I can get to Best Buy. It must be Wal-Marts fault! Their store sucks! QQQ!"
