For those interested
The last bit was really interesting, the design process for how these changes were made. ^_^

Thanks for the link, some interesting insights into the processes involved in bringing us that great update!

Interesting to hear that the GW2 team is willing to put in extra hours just to make our current Guild Wars experience more wonderful!
Thanks for the Interview up, and thanks heaps to the Anet team for making and being passionate about such a wonderful game.

It's a little reassuring to hear that there are people willing to work on GW in their overtime.

This is great news, good to know that support for GW is still strong. Good job anet/ncsoft.

Not really. We are all interested in the game being as good as it can be, and so we recognize that as the game grows, previous design decisions may no longer be practical and/or could stand to be updated. |
7 heroes now please.

Only wish they asked what the next project will be. Usually we have a good idea what they are working on, but now we're sorta in the dark.
Possible next project could be:
Finishing HoM update (requires GW2 programing, so may be delayed further)
Titan quests update
Something out of the blue

"Though they’re focused on GW2, there are still tons of people at ArenaNet who are extremely passionate about Guild Wars."
Oooh, nice to hear

So gw isn't forgotten after all lol.

No problem; I was just really lucky I could get the interview. Linsey had some really good answers, and I also enjoyed the answer to the design process. I am all for educated fans so that they understand what are reasonable requests/changes/etc. for an MMO.

This thread has great potential.
Of becoming a fap place of course.

well thats not really a pattern and i don't think they work in that way lol
I would like to do tombs for the first time ever though despite playing for 3 years....maybe something with rotscale in the update aswell as i havent even done that (makes me think what little ive done).

The pattern I meant was, they do something big, then they rest and put something smaller Afterall, with so few people working on the GW Live team for their "day job" they will get tired after an update like the titles update. Especially when they pull all nighters. They will need to rest preventing a just as big update the next month. Just my thoughts of course, nothing concrete

So basically all the crying and bitching in the past about Anet not doing enough or anything at all in regards to GW1 was all unjustified and that some of you people don't have the slightest friggin clue???? SHOCKING!!!
Kudos to Anet.

So GW1 isn't abandoned after all. It just feels that way.

You guys are so gullible. People can SAY anything, but, that doesn't mean it is so. You really should learn more about how public relations and community relations people work. I think there was a show about it on tv. They LIE all the time just to keep a certain APPEARANCE about themselves and their staff. It's also called POLITICS as well.
