favor- how high will it go?

so now that favor has gone down to zero what do you think would happen? most likely thing would be scrolls selling high, and soon the favor will go back, but even then favor probably wont be shooting too high will it?

if you do alot of uw you will have loads of scrolls anyway did 5 runs the other day to help a m8 get some ectos and we had 3 drop in those 5 runs

I would say that ANet would add another SS/LB weekend and the minutes would go up to 60k again, BUT THEY FIXED IT, AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

i really hope they dont do another ss/lb weekend, an EotN rep point one wouldnt be too horrible but no ss/lb hopefully.

I think it's safe to say that the days of high favor are over for a couple of reasons:
1. Removing SS/LB titles from the list of those that add favor cuts out a rather large source of favor, as they're both pretty easy titles to max.
2. AFAIK, Most title hunters have gotten through the low-grind titles (Protector, Guardian, etc.) and the number of people working on the Drunk/Party/Sweet titles is dropping daily. That leaves the heavy grind titles - Kurzick/luxon, MotN, & Vanquishing. I wouldn't expect a spike in favor from any of those sources.

No more weekends to give over 9000 minutes.
How high will it go? at max probably a day in one time, but that will have to be on some un/lucky weekend in conjunction to a boardwalk weekend, if it even gets to half a day.

But still, no biggie. You can use a scroll when no favor, which can get you a few scrolls, and with favor, you just pay the 1k, unless you have a scroll from a previous time in UW/FoW.
So, won't go up much, neither favor nor scroll prices. Ectos will probably stay where it is as well now. Unless some major horder sells a ton, or someone buys online gold and buys a bunch.

So yeah, "life" - in the Favor sense - is carrying on regardless, and pretty much as the developers probably intended it too. There's Favor for a while, then there's no Favor, people get more titles, then there's a few hundred minutes of Favor.

speed clears use scrolls anyway, the only people paying are the farmers. Successful sc's give at least 8 scrolls back to the market, and the rate of successful runs is more than 1 out of 8 in general so there will never be a shortage of uw scrolls.

it's not gonna hit the numbers it did, but I'm sure we'll cope. At least we don't have 55s standing in ToA pretending they care about HA any more.

My expectations are not so high for favor points. I'm (and this is surprising) pessimistic about the enthusiasm for UW and title acquisitions for the sake of gaining favor. Most importantly is the fact that titles max. Well, maybe that's not a big issue consider that we won't expect any Gods walking amongst us by the thousands any time soon. My worry is just the enthusiasm for favor based on what we need to do to get it.

UW/FOW is boring, once you have completed 2-3 times on NM/HM there's nothing to do, only people care about that crappy place is farmers and the greedy, otherwise most gamers ignore that location after they have completed it, same goes for every elite mission.

Agree with Pleikki, Deep and Urgoz (well, Deep not so much) are always fun. Because they are sometimes... unpredictable. Like when whole team wipes out except for one R/Mo with Rebirth and everyone is crossing fingers that he won't aggro enemies.
