I can't seem to find information about this, or a table... or anything.
If someone has a link, i would be very appreciative.
I want to know what the max armor on a shield per q is, like,
A q5 shield and have how much armor maximum? and q6, etc...

as low as q7s have max armor which is 16, after that there are no maxed shields for any reqs below 7. not sure about the rest though.

I haven't seen much info on this anywhere either, but I am 95% certain that the max armor on a NO req shield is 8. I've also seen req 6's with 14-15 AR, but they're pretty likely to be overlooked. Most people will see that an item is not maxed and then discard/merch it.

No if you have 14 tactics on a q7 shield with 15 armor you wont get 30 armor. There's been so many threads on this (also for swords and damage, it's basicly the same thing)...

Max armor on a req 0 shield is 8. This shield may also have a slight (-2) conditional dmg reduction. Max on a q7 is 16. Dunno the rest, never paid much attention.

req6 armor 14

I know the max for a req 6 shield is at least 14, as I've owned one in the past.

^ looks to be very acurate. You can find the odd 0 Req shield with 8 armor and an inscription slot, these are very usefull for casters. You can add a +30hp mod and a +10 armor vs X to make this a handy item to swap to in a pinch.

One thing I wasn't paying attention to in the old times - nonmax shields.
So I'm interested in whether there were req.6 armor15 possible before they did that +1 on the high end of the formula. And if someone has kept even one of those.

u can still get q7 max 16 armour shields.... there are quite a few for sale on this site lol, all u need to do it look.
