Hey everyone,
Some of you may remember me. I quit around 6 months ago, but i used to be a forum regular and a pretty decent guild wars player.
I'm trying to rationalize playing this game again, but I just don't know what to do. I spent nearly 2k hours playing, got multiple sets of elite armour, beat each game multiple times, grinded a few titles (boring has hell), played some pvp, got 8 characters to level 20, all with all the skills i'll ever need.
Anyone have any ideas on what I could do now? The problem is, i only play for 30-60 minutes at a time during the week, so I could never get into really doing FoW or anything.
thanks

i was just reading the updates, and all the new faction stuff would really help my get the luxon faction i need (i was like r7 or something)
Ra is lame, there are only 1-2 more elite armours i want. got planty of weapons.
I guess i could vanquish, but all i remember of that was getting lamed by some ele boss over and over, while trying to keep KD lock on him and SA up.

The game is still in the same shape as when you left it.
So if it bored you back then - don't expect for things to change unless you make some new steps.
Personally - I enjoy creating new guys more then I enjoy playing with old ones. So I can just delete one of my old guys, make a new one and the game is quite fresh again.
But judging by what you described as the activities you enjoyed doing - I don't see the game being fun again.
But, as always, just try it - I might be wrong.

I would not continue playing guild wars (grind wars) anymore if you have completed most of fun objectives in the game. Especially if you only have a few hours a week to play a week. That is unless you have developed strong friendships in the game or want to tackle PvP seriously.
If you only have a few hours of time to play on your comp I would play oblivion or civ 4 or something like that. Guild wars is not the great game it once was. If you were bored with it before (6 months ago) then you will be bored with it now. I would not expect you to find much more to due that would validate your time playing the game except create new characters Or getting satisfaction from grinding. I think upier hit it on the dot.

Wat I would do is come up with different armor combinations. For example, gladiator elite armor with obsidian helm which would look ugly. But its only an example. Once u make ure nice combination, you can get a sweet sheild or sword to go with it if ure a caster or a melee. Lots of people do that now and its really fun but kinda takes awhile to acquire the stuff but it will be worth it.

So that smart posters can post in and point out the irrelevancy of this thread to anything significant.

on-topic: tbh, I don't care if you play or not, and I'm not sure anyone else really does, but if you feel like you've taken a sufficient break and still have lots left to do, then come back and see if you still enjoy it. It's really not a big deal. It's not as if downloading the client and -imaging it is a difficult process. If you don't like it, continue not playing it.
