WTF is an [iA] stamp of approval

like in this:
"Harold J. Chow is one of our freelance Guild Wars reporters. His in-game name is Guild Informant.
Adam Sunstrom has been playing Guild Wars since February 2004 when he joined the Alpha test, and has been interested in the competitive aspects of the game from the beginning. In the early Beta Weekend Events, he led his former clan, The Fianna, with success. He is currently a member of Black Widow [Wi] and the proud holder of one [iA] stamp of approval."

My guess;
He was part of a guild with the tag [iA] or good friends with that guild, and that guild gives people they like their stamp of approval, but it has no actual value what so ever to anyone except that guild + friends.

Dunno what that means. Perhaps he's an adept ranger.

[iA] was a guild that used to exist long ago. They were known as Imbalanced Assassins [iA] and used to win everything with an all assassin team. No healers, no warriors, no mesmers, or any other profession.
They would simultaneously shadow step and double-gank 4 members of the opposite team and then escape with recall. They would hold halls for over 24 hours using the disconnect trick (rather than logout) so that another member could login on that account and reconnect with the team. They had a core of 30 odd players so there were always enough players online for this.
Opposing teams would see them online and just /resign to avoid the embarrassment of a quick defeat. Players would login just to watch them win halls. They were an unstoppable beast of a guild.
Legend has it that Adam was the first person to survive their quadruple gank and thus earned the [iA] seal of approval. No one yet knows how he did it. Some say that [iA] was off their game that night because their math teachers were failing them. Others think that they were distracted by the finale of their favorite show, power rangers. Still others believe a farfetched tale about them being taken out by spearmen. The inimitable mystery of the guild had been shattered and they not only began losing to good teams but it seemed they had lost their ubiquitous ward against noobs.
Either way, the fact that Adam survived their gank slowly killed the fighting spirit of the members of [iA]. They were not universally feared anymore. The sin spike faded away into history and along with it [iA] faded out of the collective minds of GW players.
Adam became the widely regarded as the best player in GW and his articles have been consumed by pro pvper's like manna from heaven. Many of them agree that the state of the game would not be what it is without his influence.

JoeKnowMo explained it nicely. Nothing else to discuss.
