General Help.

hey i use to play guild wars a while back and i quit back then, now I'm coming back Ive just created a new character i don't really know what I'm doing Ive got all 3 of the main campaigns but not GWEN I'm gonna get that if i get back into it.

right now I'm a Nightfall Dervish, tips please?

But seriously, i would go to the campfire and post in the DERVISH forum if you are looking for a specific build. Otherwise id just say get a decent scythe max armor with full survivor insignias. For a starter derv you cant go wrong packing a lot of enchants with [mystic regeneration] but when you get further you will want to evolve your bar a bit. I assume you are talking about doing it in Normal Mode. Where it really doesnt matter what you run in NM all you have to do is bang on your keyboard at random and you beat NM.

Don't go for the survivor title.
Learn from your failure.

There really isn't much to say beyond that when you don't have anything specific to ask or aren't lvl20.

anyway, short answer is to wiki builds and use heroes. that wut everyone is doing.

check the dervish forum for the starter guide and builds, i would say work on your titles.

Don't hang around the forum, start killing some plants and insects. Don't forget to talk to guys/gals at the shrines, they give you "bounty" or rewards points to advance in your sunspears title. catch a taxi to the dock for max armor. should not cost more then 500g sometime there are free rides. look for exclamations marks. And don't talk to strangers :P

and Wintersday 2008 is just around the corner! try to get to Lion's arch for the hat, but if you already have a prophecies character that has Lion's arch on the map , you should not worry, because now we have the hat guy!

But yes, @OP, what others have said. Check the dervish forums for builds and tips that would be your best bet.

Dervish...scythes are really strong so abuse their ability to atk 3 at once. Scythe attacks like Mystic/Eremites Sweep can be used right after your auto attack for an artificial IAS, while Heart of Fury(mysticism) gives you IAS. Get Sunspear skill Eternal Aura, very very nice...especially for maintaining your elite skill Avatars...
Basically stack a few good enchants(including Heart of Fury), spam scythe attacks, your elite skill should be either a scythe attack or an avatar.

Dervish is one of my favorites, second(well third) in fun-ness only to my sin and ele. GL and HF!
