When i gain faction, does it stay with me or with guild

Im just learning the end game type stuff as im only like 3 weeks into guildwars, but if i gain a bunch of luxon faction lets say, and then later i change guilds, does taht faction come with me to my new guild since i got it, or do i leave it behind.

If you donated it to the alliance, it's gone forever.
The faction you see when you push 'H' stays with you.

ok so when i gain faction it doesnt automatically count towards alliance faction untill i give it up to the alliance? (so if i dont give it up to the alliance i can give it to a guild i join later?)

yes, but don't worry too much about it. i think its better to use it to donate then save it. it only 30 min to get 10k fac. Donating gets you 2x title points and helps your guild. But i have been i a heavy faction farming guild for years.

thats right, you keep the faction until you donate it using a faction reward NPC, you can also use the faction on amber/(the other one) or for PvE skills.

When you earn Kurzick/Luxon faction, it gets stored on your account.

If you donate to a guild, that faction is theirs, and you don't get it back. If you leave that guild, you still keep your unspent faction.

To add to all of this, the points you've gained towards the "Friend of" titles from donating faction won't be lost.

The, Faction can be used to aquire amber/jade, and PVE only skills, and to boost the effectiveness of those skills as you progress through the Faction related titles
