Rare Items

Could someone tell me what some rare items are? I do a lot of farming, and I've accidentally sold some high-end items, and I don't want to do that again, so I've come here for help. Thanks in advance.

Well there are definitely to many to list here... Just equip your golds before you sell them, and see if they look somewhat special. If they do, search the trade forums for the price.

there are too many to name, but crystalline swords, voltaic spears, emerald blades, eternal blades, and obsidian edge are usually very high end weapons. your best bet is to look in the high end forum and youll see whats rare or not.

and additionaly watch out for the stats on uninscriptable items and request of course on all
basicly any request below 10 is good

Look in the High-End Section of Guru; and just browse around some weapons. If you see some (even just the titles) then you know to never merch that item again

This is a beginners guide to selling but it provides some valuable information on determining if something is great or Merchant food.


Also if you are unsure of an item you posses is worth anything, list the item up in the price check section of guild wars guru. Wait for a few responses and you can generally get a good idea of what people are paying for them now a days.

To be more specific, what potentially high-end items could I find while HM raptor farming, or HM keg farming.

Best thing you'd find while doing either of those is an Elemental Sword when raptor farming, which really doesn't sell for much anymore due to overfarming.

Basically if you're expecting to get something awesome to sell while farming, people have already farmed it and it's not worth anything anymore. The really rare items are things like Eternal Blades and Miniature Ghostly Heroes that only drop from one place at a very, very low drop rate.
