Trojan.sinowal

Not sure if this is something you guys would be able to help with, but I have apparently let a trojan onto my computer. The name is trojan.sinowal, and to be honest, I have no clue how I received, or how any of my spyware programs didn't pick it up to begin with.

I have tried a couple of times to remove it with programs like AVG and Spybot-S&D, but each time it seems to recreate itself. It seems that it has embedded itself into my registry, at which point I would think one of my only options would be to reformat the laptop. Is there any way to reset the registry to default settings without reformatting the entire laptop?

Just wondering if anyone knows a solution to this trojan...never ran into anything that keeps re-creating itself ><

Ditch AVG and get avast. Avast is a far better anti virus and it can scan at boot time.

get kaspersky internet security its better then avast

Misinformation. av comparatives last On-demand comparative test states that avast is better than Kaspersky.

avast: ~97,3%/~98.7%
Kaspersky: ~~94,4%/~97.6%

avast "out of the box" almost does better than Kaspersky on the highest/best possible settings.

well i dont mean only by that. avast is more difficult to find stuff etc
