it looks like cynn but shes wearing ranger armor, no one else wears that kind armor, she looks kinda eleish because shes rising like eles do when they cast long spells.

I always assumed it was an early design for Devona(because of the armor), but the pose definitely belongs to Cynn(same as in the cinematic). I don't believe there's ever been an official mention of who it is.

I don't think it's any particular class. It's got bits and pieces from several. The "blades" around her head are like Assassin or Necro. The boots/leggings look Warrior-ish. The skirt looks Ranger. The rest could be anything. Why would it need to be any class, it's just concept art.

Either way Anet made a much better marketing decision by choosing the cover and art work that they actually used when they released it the states!

Yes it is an Elementalist and it is Cynn with different armour as this the beta edition of the game that came out in Oct.04.
