Recent Connectivity Issue

I've recently been getting very odd server connectivity disconnects. GW has run perfectly fine on this PC for almost three years now and I make sure to double check driver compatibility issues whenever I update drivers (which I haven't needed to update since 2007), but since November 26th I've experienced abnormal lag spikes that have since evolved into frequent Code 500 errors SPECIFICALLY while on the loading screen between zones: "Guild Wars was unable to connect to the game server due to a network error. This may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure."

So far I've:
- Reinstalled the firewall on my router
- Reinstalled my PC firewall
- Reconfigured both firewall's exceptions

I've tried to run the GW -diag but it wont complete the test. It stays at status "Testing..." while testing "Discovering External Address". Though I'm not sure this is a related issue, it too is a recent development as a problem.

Is anyone out there suffering from this same problem or do I just need to start probing the guys and gals in the support department? Thanks in advance.

Well I have yet to contact the support staff namely because I hate finding out it's an easily remedied problem that I could've just asked around to fix. Though if I'm the only one getting this problem it would probably be the best idea to just go through tech support.

I tried a reinstall yesterday though, and still no improvement. Now I have the wonderful task of re-downloading content
