What is it with people?

The monthly update deal doesn't come on the expected date and people freak out like santa skipped their house for the holidays. Is it really that important, yeah sure its wintersday, but still thats just weird. You know how everyone loves virtual gifts from a company could care less. -_-

What is it with people creating same threads over and over?

That's because those who really cared they spent their time and money to play Anet's Guild Wars dont want to find themselves wasting their time. There needs to be an update and we need to be informed properly everytime because:

1.) It's rude not to let us know.
2.) We spent money and some of us care that we do. Not everyone is rich or has mommy and daddy buying GW for them.
3.) GW gets ****** boring. The game needs lots of new and spectacular updates to keep this game alive.

Better question:

Why did you make this thread? It is the same exact reasoning.

I still remember the time when updates went out weekly.
You'd get a new build warning - log out/in - talked to others what and how was changed, logged onto the forums, discussed it a bit more, learned some things in the process and couldn't wait to test out the new things!

Now ... khmm ... we at least get the AT points with the update ...

I'll just reply to that statement before this thread gets closed.
Gw is a GAME. Playing a game is always a "waste of time". If you like the game, then it's a good waste of time, taken to enjoy yourself or relieve stress. If you find it boring, then it's a BAD waste of time, so then why play at all?

as much as i dont want to i see the OP's point, if people are just waiting month after month for an update, they're not even playing the game for fun anymore

still dont see the true point of this thread though, i guess we all get bored sometimes

wut. Seriously... Anet don't owe you anything. They don't have to update this game, they don't have to let us know an exact schedule. I've seen four year old children on a similar wavelength, holding their breath and stamping their feet in an effort to demand information.

A game is supposed to be played for fun, if you are not having fun or feel you are wasting your time then stop playing, it really is that simple.

Why, Anet owes you nothing, you paid one time for a game so, they really don't need to do anything else at all. They are not making any more off you then the day you bought the game. Unless of course "YOU" choose to buy extra slots or whatnot, which you mean you are enjoying the game. Therefore you are still getting your money's worth.

1) They can do anything they want to this game without letting "YOU" or anyone else know and it is within their rights to do so. I think it is very nice that they put up any information at all on their web site.

2) Who cares if you spent money, everyone did, weather it was their own money or their mommy's, the money was spent. You should have bought the game to play and have fun. I don't understand why people think that a game is going to be the last one they will ever play. They think OMG, I will spend $40 and never have to buy another game again. This company is going to give me free content forever.

3) Again if you are board with it, step away, stop playing go outside and get some fresh air. This game was not meant for you to play non stop. It was made to play for a while, stop and then come back again.

Anyway, you talk of others using mommy's money and such but, from you comments I think you are living 1 of these 2 lives.

1) Still living with mom and dad and lead a very sheltered life. They hand you everything on a silver platter so, that makes you think you should get everything you want exactly when you want it.

2) You have found a way to pass into some fantasy world and have never really had to face reality before, therefore not really understanding it when it sneaks up behind you and smacks you in the face.

Wow to many arrogant asses on this forum the man simply stated that anet did state every first Thursday would be skill balance and the content update would be toward the end of the month. They did good for a while on keeping everything on time and posting the Dev update before the live update etc. and it seems that they have slacked off a bit and the updates get later and later the montly tonic that was suposed to be release on Thursday. And people are curious on what is going to happen big skill update small ones gimmick nerfs etcs. One small change can take a whole team tactic and throw it down the drain. People like to be prepared as for all the whiny asses that plague this forum of +1's in before lock, QQ thread plz lock. I think you need to have a reality check and realize that this is a virtual forum.

QQ over whether or not this thread should be closed is the same as QQ over a late update you all no better than anyone else and your epeen battles always give me epic lolz.

With that said seriously grab Life by the horns and hold on because your in for one hell of a ride.
