Just got the game and into a quest suppose to destroy some corsair ships ...how do you arm the catapult ?

There are barrels of oil close to the platform. Hold Alt and look around to locate them. All you have to do is to click on them and carry them to the levers. Drop, click the levers and the ships will go boom !
