Just A GW Christmas Reminder

The christmas weekends will be coming up soon so are you gathering the goodies that will get you lots of candy canes those rainbow ones and green peppermint ones? Remember some of these items get you christmas goodies. Charr Carvings, Juvinile termite legs, gargoyle skulls, silver bullion coins, sentient roots, orr something or others. Some of you others can add some of the ones I can't remember. Remember don't sell them for 30gp like some of those hawkers are trying to buy them already as they are worth much much more each.

Ohh, thanks for the reminder!
Not the farming one of course (dear lord I'd have to be REALLY bored to follow THAT advice - besides, any real farmer is hoarding the items since last Wintersday!) - but the reminder that people will go overboard with farming those items and thus we can expect a change in the insignia/runes prices!
They dropped very nicely at Halloween making it the crappy event into a winner when it comes to upgrading your heroes!

It would be absolutly hilarious if they just decided to change the items you need to trade with.

The best time to buy the collectibles is many, many months ahead of the actual event. Of course people won't sell them for less than 30g with Wintersday coming up.
Try buying the stuff that's needed for Cantha New Year, or Halloween. People tend to forget the use of the collectables after that particular event has passed.

I've been in GW since the beginning (not beta thankfully ;p) ... and I ALWAYS miss Wintersday festivities... *sob*
This year I am missing it again because 1: my PC video card broke down so I can't login, and 2: I'll be traveling to visit family, so that means when DELL returns my fixed computer, I won't be home to use it *sob!*
