Cloaking other peoples play

I think GW2 should have a cloaking ability. Basically you could watch other people playing the game when you are not involved. This would be great for guild leaders to asses teams abilities & weaknesses. It is hard to pay real attention when you are trying to keep yourself alive. What due you think. Also you should be able to see exactly where your guild is playing, not just that they are online.

I think he means an obs mode, but for PvE areas?

2. Whisper whoever you want to find
3. If you're trying that hard to stay alive, you fail.

Notice what I highlighted in that quote? That means it was posted in the wrong place. There is a sticky topic at the top of this forum specifically for GW2 ideas. Post there if you want to suggest things for GW2, not here.

it would be too hard to implement an observation mode of any character in the entire game. Not to mention the question of privacy rights. you will have to just find another way to judge a person's capabilties. However, it would be nice if in the friends list, it could display the location of ur friend. (guild hall, heroes ascent, underworld, etc.)

/signed for seeing where guildies are. Makes sense, and maybe they dont want to be whispered because they are in UW and in the middle of a battle. Or they have do not disturb on...
