Just saw that picture in the "Post your elementalist" thread, and wondering what is this staff:
It looks like a Tengu Staff, but as far as I know, you can't dye it this way, only the wrappings.
Maybe texmodded?
Also, his armor is simply red dyed, or black+red?

Yup BMP Tengu Staff but not the original color, suppose you can dye it black but that red orb is originally blue and you can't change that.

yep its a photoshopped tengu staff, you can obtain glasses in EotN.

armor is modded too. the black part is suppose to greyish color. it looks very awesome. of course, it is only viewable to the person playing the char

I've recieved a PM about how is the reproducing of this staff going on.
Honestly I've done nothing, but after reading the PM I started working on it.
The result is kinda, weird.
For some unknown reasons my staff has an 'aura'
Under the aura you can see the black staff and even the red crystal parts.
The texture I've made:
If you guys have any tips on what could be the problem, please write here or PM me.

According to the wiki, "This is either caused by the filetype or the image editor not supporting alpha channels. (IE, JPG format, or editing with MSPaint.)"

You need to use an image editor which supports alpha such as GIMP. You can get it for free at http://www.gimp.org/.

I would get the tengu staff if it was black...only becuase it looks cool not becuase everyone else does it becuase black is expensive and "only rich people can afford it"

Btw. This texmod is proven to work by me so long as the output is in bmp format. I did it last night for a friend and it worked perfectly...
