What is currently the fastest perma-sin build for farming Chaos Planes? I am currently running:
[AE UW Burning Chaos Planes;OwZUo4l5l/OSfekObC2ORG4ibGA]
... and it works ok, but takes quite a while to kill the Banished Dream Riders and the subsequent Mindblade Spectres. I was thinking of trying either this:
[AE UW Sliver Chaos Planes;OwZSk4PP8IpvODZwDdFNw0M]
-or-
[AE UW Nuker Chaos Planes;OwZToY/85R6zj0ZIDcBwInNMAA]
... or any alterations of the above builds. I have all campaigns and EotN, but my Sin has very low levels in the PvE-only skill ranks since I just made him recently. Thanks in advance.

If you think burning is slow wait untill you try those. Sliver requires the use of Ebon Battle Standard to help kill the mindblades and By Ural's Hammer helps a lot. Fire bombing will cause scatter and be very frustrating. Even if you have low ranks in pve skills using them helps. Another way to speed things up if u want to to spend the cash is to use essence of celerity. Hope this helps.

Oh it works... it takes a good while, but it works... Assuming you don't lag, get body blocked by Aatxes, and the Obsidian Behemoths don't block one of the various spots you need to get through... and you can memorize the run to Chaos Planes... It took me about 10k + 1 passage scroll to memorize the run...
As far as drops, I didn't get to finish the Planes because I had to leave my house last night, but after killing about 5 Banished Dream Riders and their subsequent MindBlade Spectres, I got 1 Ecto, 2 Phantom Keys, a ton of dust, a ton of merch food and about 1.2k in gold.

I use the burning build now on every run and if i do a full Plains run with out taking breaks, (which i use to do when i was learning) i can finish the run in about 1h 29 mins. As said above, Silver Armor takes longer with the build you're using without Ebon Battle Standard and if you use the nuker build you got, the enemies scatter and you spend more time rounding them up and getting them back in a tight group.
With the burning build you have which is about the same one i use, i can get off 3 burns in 1 SF recharge and it takes around 4 recharges for the mind blades to go down. This may sound like a lot but degen skills don't break aggro so all you do is burn them until they all die at once and in areas where you can pull two groups of Mindblades at the same time, do so.
My minimum would be 6 ectos, 1 key, 1 scroll, 2 gold drops, 2k, and a bag full of stuff to Merch. Of course you can and will get more, but that's the least you'll get and i expect on a run. GL farming

50 mins or so (45 was the fastest and 65 the longest) for a complete clear of the plains in HM with the sliver build - using ebon standard of honor and Ural's Hammer. Being a low level in the Rep skills will make it take a little longer, of course. (drop the hammer and keep FN if you are doing more than the plains - it will take a little longer on the plains if you do, however)
I prefer the sliver build because
1: you can easily farm the aataxes too because they will be hit first while you still have a ton of graspings and shadows pounding on you to trigger sliver.
2: You don't have to mess about keeping your hp low (the aataxes, graspings and free ranging riders will run but only one at a time and the aataxes and graspings can be pulled back immediately with hits from a staff or wand and will not run away again as long as they are targeted. The free range riders will stop running when everything else in the area is dead)
3: you don't have to ball things up quite so tightly - sliver will hit out just short of the limit of the Ebon standard circle
4: killing is one at a time. although fast while the groups are large, and I seem to get better drops that way
5: If the bottom of the run is blocked by behemoths, I can take one of two of them out by having the graspings and aataxes hit me and then moving a step or two at a time closer to the behemoths. at a certain distance (still outside the range of their traps) sliver will select the behemoths over the others, clearing the way for the run. If you do this you might want to wait a minute or two after killing the behemoths for any lingering traps to go off. (you can run over them fast enough you don't set them off but by the time you kill they will be reaching the point where they will go off spontaneously anyway and nothing ruins your day like bleeding to death just after you opened the run up)
By the way - probably just my imagination but I have never gotten more than 5 ectos (usually 2 or 3) if i go down while we have favor but have never gotten less than 5 (usually 6-8 and once 11) if i use a scroll when there are 10 or less accomplishments needed to get favor. My view on this may be a bit biased since I never go down when we have favor anymore.
