I cant even stand using WoH anymore, I am beyond fed up of the skill. I have been trying [healing light][healing burst][empathic removal][shield of regeneration][shield of deflection][blessed light], and the new recent buffs.
Surprisingly, I can monk successfully with any of those skills and they are usable just about anywhere in PVE on the correct skill bar. Smiting is also fun and playable, I need to try 4 monks (me and 3 heroes) chaining the new [ray of judgement] for roffles.

Healer's Covenant: Major healing spells that require a lot of energy. Good source of balance there and frustrating to the enemies that battles against the monks team, assuming if the monk can cast wisely.
Glimmer of Light: Look at the max healing possible if you super buff your healing attribute. 122... A lot more than what Word of Healing can do, and it's unconditional. You just have to put a lot of points in healing, and that's perfect for balance. Do you want to go against a super recovering team? Do you? I thought not...
Light of Deliverance: Have you enchantments that gives health on target allies when say a healing spell affects them? This skill is for smart players. Let them figure things out. The rest of us can use the obviously easier to use builds.
Scribes Insight: Ahem... That Blessed signet that gives your energy if you maintain an enchantment. Do you know who does that? Life Bond monks. You don't like it? Well, that's because you only concentrate on the bad circumstances instead of how it would work EFFECTIVELY.
Overall conclusion: Leave everything as it is. If your monks are smart, they'll effectively use those elites so you and your team will come out of a fight almost like ubers.
There. I've sad it.
