Farming for the bear?
unkleanone
So I know everyone has been dreading the arrival of this thread but someone had to do it right? Anyway Wintersday is comming and everyone is going to be trying to get a polar bear mini so....Anyone know the best method for farming this?

Are they just a random drop?

winning the snowball at=gg its yours(that is in my mind, the most plausible thing for anet to do skill>random drop from a easily farmed chest

I haven't seen anything mentioned about them changing it from a random drop to being the reward for winning the tourny. So until I see something different I think it's safe to assume it is still going to be a random drop from the secret lair of the snowmen.

well im pretty sure that will be the finalists/winners reward for the tourney, just my opinion though

Its a chest drop from the Strength of Snow quest....nothing more.....

you farm it.... by doing the quest over and over again. OFC considering the drop rate is measly GL getting one.

1. Accept quest.
2. Roll head over keyboard until chest appears.
3. Open chest.
4. If no bear, go back to 1.

Yes it will be in the same repeatable quests as last year. The question is... Why is mini ursula so awesome and how much can i sell it for?

SS, VoR, EoE, and other AoE dmg for offense.
Shielding hands, SoA, Healing Hands, Seed of Life, etc. for defense.
Pugs with PvE skills will probably roll through faster than h&h. So there's really no best class.

In order to have a chance to obtain mini ursula you need not do the DUNGEON but the quest.... there are 2 quests. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_Strength_of_Snow ||| http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Straight_to_the_Heart the first is for those who prefer being "good" and the later for those people who feel "grentchy". Both quests take you into the "lair of the snowman" where you A) aid the snowman or B) kill all the snowmen.
Now these quests are snowball fight quests, meaning your skills are all replaced by snowball skills. This can show you all of the skills http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Snowball_fight
P.S. please look up your info before commenting.
Also http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Wintersday_Chest the chest which may possibly make you a rich person.

Thanks for the info people I wasn't sure if it was a snowball skill quest or not as I was not able to attend wintersday last year.
