I have 70GB of GW Screenshots.

Should I delete them to free up HD space or should I keep them for old time's sake?

i would say go through and dig out the best ones, but 70gb of pictures a crap load of pics to go through

Surely most of them must be from the BMP days, before the default file format was changed to JPEG? Or did you set it back to JPEG?

Either way delete them all.

Although hard drive space is so cheap nowadays anyway, 70GB would be ~$7 worth I'm guessing.

And I thought having 24gigs of screen shots was a lot/sad/etc.

I see my old screens are 2.65MB each so... 1024/2.65=386,41 * 70= 27049 Screenshots!!!

Too many screens.

Go through them and delete the unliked/unneeded ones.

Then go online and get a recording program like fraps.com and record events instead of take pictures so that you don't have a need to take several pics of one thing.

Also, if you just love screen shots, get a flashdrive.

And I thought that having 776MB of screenshots (I still have a screenshot from 12.09.05...) is bad.

..Actually... They're all jpg; I've batch converted them since the beginning. 98,217 screenshots.

Yeah, my suggestion would be either a) Burn all your fav's to a CD and trash the rest, or b)upload them to a private photo storage. Or, you could do both.

Free up the space and you still have your memories.

I recently went through and uploaded all of my files to a hosting site. It was only 1,500 or so but it only took like 2 hours. A couple weeks and you could have that all done and delete them all for a new set. In your case though, it might be more effective to put them on a mass storage device or CD.

98k screen shots at as a screen shot means you've spent...~27 HOURS taking screenshots....that doesnt count time you've spent to go out of your way to take and set up screenies...

98,217 screens. Wow. I'd delete them, or upload some on photobucket or something. However, deleting would be easier and faster than picking some through that huge pile.

convert them to jpg and make it 1gb

if theyre jpg already it means you got shit loads of picture and delete them imo

In my opinion if youve got enough hard drive space than keep them, if not delete some and keep the best. I must admit I have loads but dont know right now as all stored on an external hard drive lol.

I'm am in awe. My jaw is currently lying on the floor. 70gb's of Jpeg files is alot. WOW!
