Surely most of them must be from the BMP days, before the default file format was changed to JPEG? Or did you set it back to JPEG?
Either way delete them all.
Although hard drive space is so cheap nowadays anyway, 70GB would be ~$7 worth I'm guessing.

Go through them and delete the unliked/unneeded ones.
Then go online and get a recording program like fraps.com and record events instead of take pictures so that you don't have a need to take several pics of one thing.
Also, if you just love screen shots, get a flashdrive.

Yeah, my suggestion would be either a) Burn all your fav's to a CD and trash the rest, or b)upload them to a private photo storage. Or, you could do both.
Free up the space and you still have your memories.

I recently went through and uploaded all of my files to a hosting site. It was only 1,500 or so but it only took like 2 hours. A couple weeks and you could have that all done and delete them all for a new set. In your case though, it might be more effective to put them on a mass storage device or CD.

In my opinion if youve got enough hard drive space than keep them, if not delete some and keep the best. I must admit I have loads but dont know right now as all stored on an external hard drive lol.

Oddly enough... I never even look at the screenshots after I take them, I just enjoy knowing that I took a screenshot. Maybe I should just take screenshots and delete them all every time they fill up...

cause if your taking more you could use a cheap 160 or 180 GB drive and keep adding to the total.
Anyway best pic i remember i have somewhere I took a screeny of was end of beta and Gwen setting fire to us that was a hoot and totally unexpected.
