Favorite nerfed farming spot

Now that the game is almost 4 years old, what was your favorite farming spot that got nerfed? There are so many. While it isn't necessary to do so, try and tell us what you farmed and what character you used.

I'm sure a lot of people will say Griffin farming with a 55 monk, but, my favorite was Ettin farming for runes with my Warrior. A Superior Absorption yielded around 70-80K and a Sup Vigor got you a quick 30K(I think). I still think it's funny when the Ettin would wave it's buddies to come and club you.

Giant and then Ettin farming. That number of golds now would max a person's wisdom title in no time flat.

Ettins :/ I so loved farming them with my N/Me.

Also, not a farming spot, but Stoneflesh Aura. It was so easy to upkeep without +20% mod...

And of course troll cave.

I miss the SS/SV 55 style farm at Unwaking Waters! I did it fast casting on my mesmer and man was it great. My husband got a perfect caster Golden Phoenix blade when they were new. I was able to buy my ranger's fow armor and my para and necro's vabbian armor (when it was brand new and insanely over priced for gems) I remember my hubby got several "anti-farming" messages.

I also used to 55 gates of kryta...that paid for all of my monk's armors and equipt., runes for all of my heroes, my warrior's armor and equpt. and some of my mesmer's stuff. GoK was luctative before and after hardmode.

i enjoyed every nerf to farming they ever made. all it meant was more guildies were interested in joining me in my campaign adventures soon after the nerf left them with nothing to do

HM Urgoz. Got three weeks out of it before someone posted it here, and they were glorious.

Griffin farming was really fun at the time. I made money for my first 15k set that way. The Urgoz spirit farm was also great while it lasted.

running a time for heroes with a build that took 1:30 to kill the great destroyer

it was nerfed by greedy 55 monks with degen, now its worth like 500-1k for a hard mode run

but i made a good 500k off that before the greedy newbs ruined it.

@gift3d: doesn't that make you greedy, not wanting other people to make money...

Best farm was that chest in dreadnaughts drift, you get a .00001% chance to become an instant millionaire with one of those crystaline swords.

All my spots after loot scaling. Not complaining though, since I know why Anet had to do it.

When Original 55 UW farm got nerfed (Balths Aura), various farm nerfs due to AoE AI update...

Seconded. The Suiciding Hopping Vampire farm in HM Urgoz was amazingly easy and fun. I gained like 1 million exp every 2 hours on my Necro (might be an exaggeration, was a long time ago so I forget the exact numbers).

Does that bug that appeared for a few days that caused enemies who killed each other to give drops count? That got me some easy money just following enemy mobs as the cleaned out HM areas for me . The suiciding enemies in urgoz were a fun thing too.

55 UW Before Dying Nightmares. Got my monk there on the day of the nerf, done one run, and got around 13Ecto... GG To Old Times.

My first and dearest: maatu keep. Dunno why, but i just liked to farm with warrior there. Curse you dragon mosses....

Old griffons and the posted shiroken farm

55 GoK & Outside of Bergen in HM. Made tons of cash there, got vabbi for my ele and some armor for my monk.

I think thats it....
