hey guys

was just wondering whether the following build is worthwhile. I'm basing skill descriptions on the wiki entry, and on there Vow Of Strength is described as "Elite Enchantment Spell. For 20 seconds, your attacks deal 5...41...50% more damage against foes not suffering from any conditions". Based on that description the build uses VoS along with the duplicate crystal spells and quicker recharge to purge enemies of conditions, vital boon for health + covering enchantment, zealous and lyssa's for energy and "i am the strongest" to further increase damage

[skill]Vow of Strength[/skill][skill]I am the strongest[/skill][skill]Teinai's Crystals[/skill][skill]Crystal Wave[/skill][skill]Lyssa's Assault[/skill][skill]Zealous Sweep[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Sunspear Rebirth Signet[/skill]

Earth Prayers - 11 + 1 + 1
Scythe Mastery - 11 + 1
Earth Magic - 8

radiant armor needed due to energy cost of crystals.

was contemplating putting [skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill], or [skill]glyph of swiftness[/skill] in with 4 in air magic to reduce recharge times of crystals

obviously this build won't work with builds that rely on conditions or condition spamming. so I was wondering if the damage increase was worth this draw-back, and if the build is useful?

Dunno if this would work well, as I've never tried anything similar.

Only one thing though, I'd drop the SS rez signet for Aura of Holy Might. That should allow you to do crazy damage with Vow of Strength. Bringing Melonni as an orders dervish would probably be cool too.

EDIT : Be aware you won't be able to use the two attack skills while you're under VoS !

You'll be running to groups of monsters then running back after them hitting 1-2 foes at a time as they chase your monks and stuff. That's a pretty craptastic build.

Id grab some better attack skills, remove vital boon (leave healing to ur healers), and only use one of the crystals. Tbh, VoS is weak due to the inability to inflict conditions which many other builds rely on. Id vote running the kurzick/luxon pve skill which basically does the same thing without the drawback, and run reapers, wounding, or a perma avatar.

Also, radiants arent really relevant as more energy does not equal energy management.

just use a better elite really... this is way to much effort for a damage boost that doesnt beat Lyssa.

VoS is just pathetic and this build proves it...it's not bad I see what you're trying to do but it's not worth it. Just use a good elite, VoS used to be an ok skill then they "fixed" it and now it's worthless.
