Does anyone have any idea why my posts now have to be approved by a moderator? I haven't been on guru since i made a recruitment post last friday, and when i tried to post today i need to get everything approved. Anyone know why?

I'm sorry that is happening. I don't know why but we are looking into it.

That usually happens when you post a lot of pics or something, your case seems to be different, not sure why :S.

well I tried to post a new art thread in the Nolani Academy the other day and it still hastn't come through. Without wanting to affront anyone, it still is rather annoying...

I've send you a PM (hope you did get that ) and I've posted about it in Site Feedback. Should be fixed soon.

@above: We don't have alot of active mods there, so yeah... I'm sure some smod will approve it when he sees this.

I've approved the two above posts.

When this happens, PM an active moderator of the forum, a super moderator, or a (sell) admin.

I'm not sure why this is happening to some users, and I don't see a board setting that can change this. I will certainly look into it though as it shouldn't be happening.

Inde: I've often had the issue when making posts that include lots of photos, and generally large photos.

It may be a precaution to prevent the posting of excessively large, forum breaking photos? (Longcat, widecat, etc?)

I have approved about 30 of these threads and have so far been unable to determine what causes this.

Some had:
large pictures small pictures only links to pictures (no IMG tags) heavily formatted text
  • plain text words the filter might deem suspicious (imo) no words the filter might deem suspicious (imo)

Nothing has changed as far as board configurations since your OP; we still have no idea what is currently causing these selective moderations. Please be patient while we try to figure it out.

If anyone has any additional problems with this feel free to post here.

    Thanks.

We may have found something to prevent this in the future. We'll see if this will work and then update you all here.

A setting has been changed and all users who have above 10 posts should no longer experience this problem. Please post feedback here if you were previously affected and whether or not you are still being affected as of 12/16 at 1743/5:43PM EST.
